Elections and Electoral Registration
Voting and elections explained.
Elections 4 May 2017
A new registration system was introduced in June 2014, Individual Electoral Registration (IER). This means that everybody is now responsible for their own registration.
How to Vote
There are several ways to vote. The most common is in person at a polling station, but you can also vote by post or allow somebody else to vote on your behalf (in special circumstances).
Fenland District Council is responsible for the conduct of a wide range of different types of elections. You can only vote at elections if you are registered to vote.
