How we support rough sleepers in Fenland

The Rough Sleeper Team carries out regular outreaches in Fenland to find those who are rough sleeping and offer support.

The team can signpost to other support services and help with application forms and paperwork.

The team will work with service providers to support the individual with finding suitable accommodation.

This could include providing financial support to access private rented accommodation, referring to supported living providers, or registering with Home-Link, to apply for social housing.

Not everyone accepts the help we offer. We'll always make repeated offers of help.

Severe Weather emergency help for rough sleepers in Fenland

During severe weather, we launch our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP) to provide emergency shelter to rough sleepers.
