We will remove graffiti on public property. Graffiti removal on private property is the responsibility of the owner, but the Council can remove this for a fee.

Graffiti is drawings or words that are painted, sprayed, scratched or written on the surface of any property. It is an illegal, anti-social activity that spoils the look of the local area.

The Council will remove graffiti on public buildings, street furniture or monuments for free. We will prioritise the removal of offensive content.

It is up to the landowner to remove graffiti on private property. The Council is able to remove this for a fee - to get a quote please email
