Information regarding any upcoming elections or by-elections taking place during 2026 will be made available on this webpage.

All voters are now required to show voter identification in order to vote at a polling station. This requirement has been introduced under the Election Act 2022.

Changes to postal vote handling also came into effect on 2 May 2024. Further details can be found on our postal vote page.
