Chatteris Midsummer Festival

Chatteris Midsummer Festival, due to be held on June 26th & 27th 2021, will not take place On 27th June, a fun run in the morning followed by dog show and live music will take place instead.

This year's theme is Fairy and Folk tales. With many local groups and organisations taking part, the event is sure to be enjoyed by all. 

What's on

Gates open at Furrowfields at 10.00am on Saturday 26th June. Entry is £1.

There will be lots of exciting activities on the field. Music performances will take place throughout the day, leading to party in the park which finishes at 10pm on Saturday.

There are loads of great activities on Sunday 28th June too between 10am-4pm. Gates open at Furrowfields at 10.00am. Entry is £1. 

Please note that:

  • alcohol is not allowed to be brought to the site and will be confiscated
  • children under 18 must be supervised by an appropriate adult

Plan your journey

It's free to park in Furrowfields car parks. Please note there will be no access to these during the parade as these roads will be closed. Diversion routes will be in place between 10.30am-1pm.

Many people choose to walk or cycle to the event. Once you arrive, cycling isn't allowed in the event area.

If you've already made a booking, you'll receive an email with full joining instructions 10 days before the event. Please contact us if you don't receive the information by this time. 

Who makes it happen

Chatteris Midsummer Festival is one of our 'Four Seasons' events. We deliver it alongside a committee of volunteers and with support from Chatteris Town Council.

We would like to think the many organisations and people that have contributed to the event's success over the years.
