Taxi Licensing

We grant licences for hackney carriage and private hire vehicles, drivers and operators

From 28 June, the Taxis and Private Hire Vehicles (Disabled Persons) Act 2022 ("The 2022 Act") will take effect.

Under Section 165 of this Act, the list of vehicles that comply with this legislation are:

Licensed Drivers

Apply for or renew a taxi driver licence

Apply for a Hackney Carriage, Private Hire or Special Event vehicle licence

You need an Operator Licence to run a Private Hire business
