Boiler and Heating grants

We are offering grant assistance to help with heating repairs or improvements

We are offering discretionary grant assistance to cover some, or all, of the cost of replacing broken or inefficient household boilers and electric storage heaters.

The grant can also cover the cost of installing first time central heating if you do not have it.

Funding for these grants is limited. After checking if you qualify for help, please contact the Private Sector Housing Team by emailing or by calling 01354 654321.

Check if you qualify

The scheme is only available to homeowners who:

  • receive a qualifying benefit or child benefit (listed below) and
  • have a household income that matches information (listed below)

To qualify for the grant, you must own the property and have bills and benefits registered at your address. We cannot help Housing Association or Private Sector tenants as repairs and improvements are usually the Landlord's responsibility.
