Funfairs
Find out about the fairs visiting Fenland over the next year
This page gives information about fairs taking place in Fenland. Other fairs will take place throughout the year with dates to be confirmed by the organisers.
There will be some temporary disruption to some of our public car parks whilst the fairs are on. We recommend using alternative forms of transport if possible during this time as there is a high demand for alternative car park spaces.
Wisbech - Mart and Statute Fair
The fair arrives in Wisbech twice a year. The Mart Fair takes place in March every year and the Statute Fair in September. Both fairs see the attractions occupy Chapel Road Car Park. The showmen's trailers and caravans occupy part of Somers Road Car Park.
The next fair will be arriving on Sunday 17th September 2023. This will be open to the public between the 20th and 23rd of September.
There is no public parking during this time in Chapel Road car park and limited spaces as a result in Somers Road. Find other car parks in Wisbech.
Whittlesey - Spring, Summer and Autumn Fair
The fair arrives in Whittlesey three times a year during Spring (March), Summer (May) and Autumn (September). All fairs see the attractions occupy the Buttercross area. The showmen's trailers and caravans occupy the top part of Eastgate car park.
The date of the Summer and Autumn Fairs are yet to be confirmed.
March - Spring and Statute Fair
The fair arrives in March for 2 weeks, twice a year. It is held in March and October and occupies City Road Car and Lorry Parks.
Due to the future High Street Improvement works taking place in the town centre, the Spring Fair did not take place this year. Details on the Statute fair held in October are yet to be confirmed.
There is no public parking at this location available when the fair takes place. Find other car parks in March. The Mill View car park and Market Place car park have a maximum 2 hour stay period.
Chatteris - Spring and Summer Fair
The Chatteris fair occupies Wenny Road Open Space twice a year in April and September. Please note the fair is weather dependent as rain can restrict access to the field with HGVs. The date of the next fair is yet to be confirmed.
