Asbestos
Asbestos can be a dangerous material. It needs handling carefully.
Asbestos should only be removed by a contractor with a special licence. They will remove and get rid of it safely for you.
Fenland District Council does not offer an asbestos removal service.
Cambridgeshire County Council offers a disposal service for small amounts of cement-bonded asbestos. The asbestos must be from the home and fit into a 2.59m x 1.37m bag. Residents can use the service once a year. Apply for an Asbestos Bag and Permit.
