Nominate community heroes for recognition
If you know a community hero, you're being asked to nominate them for recognition in the Pride in Fenland Awards 2026.
The Fenland District Council awards recognise the people of Fenland who make a difference.
In most cases, awards are for community champions whose efforts benefit an organisation, community, village or town, but in some cases the impact may be more specific such as a courageous young carer.

Cllr Susan Wallwork, Fenland District Council's portfolio holder with responsibility for the Pride in Fenland Awards, said: We say every year, and it never becomes less true, that these awards are an annual highlight. They're all about what is good in the world and in Fenland and every year they show us how abundant that goodness is.
"We have a community full of selfless, caring people, and, at this event, thanks to the nominations we receive, we hear about some of those wonderful people. If you know someone deserving of recognition, please make a nomination to let us know about them."
Nominations must be with the council by 9am on Monday, June 1.
Online nominations are preferred, via: Pride in Fenland Awards
Printed nomination forms are available on request. To request a printed nomination form call 01354 654321.
Winners will be revealed in an invitation-only ceremony at Wisbech St Mary Sports and Community Centre on Wednesday, July 1.
There have been 17 previous annual Pride in Fenland events, with the last held in June 2025.
