Bin collections to begin earlier due to heatwave
Residents are being advised that bin collections will be carried out slightly earlier than normal this week to help crews cope with the high temperatures.

The Met Office has forecast temperatures in the high 20s throughout this week, with the mercury set to peak at around 32C on Monday and Tuesday next week (18th and 19th July), when an Amber Extreme heat weather warning will be in force.
To help shorten the period of time that refuse, recycling and garden waste crews are working in the hottest part of the day, bin collections will be carried out slightly earlier than normal.
Residents are asked to put their bins out for collection by 5.30am (usually 7am), or the night before where possible.
Thank you for your help and co-operation.
