The brand's new HQ includes a research and development laboratory, as well as production and packing facilities. Supported by Growth Works and Fenland District Council with access to grant funding, recruitment and business support opportunities, this expansion reflects The Turmeric Co.'s commitment to providing high-quality health products and services to its customers, and is forecasted to create 30+ jobs within the area over the next 36 months.

Founded by international footballer, Thomas Robson-Kanu, The Turmeric Co.'s shots have been developed over 15 years and are endorsed by leading nutritionists. Each core range shot contains 35g of raw turmeric, boasting the strongest measure available on the market. All shots contain piperine extract, the bioactive compound found in black pepper which improves the absorption of curcumin (the active ingredient) in the body by up to 2000%.

As part of The Turmeric Co.'s innovative ethos, this investment will play a pivotal role in company growth and new product development. With 10 fresh products scheduled to be released over the next 24 months, their multi-functional site will allow the health brand to take its next steps towards internationalisation into Europe and beyond.

Speaking on the move, Thomas Hal Robson-Kanu, CEO of The Turmeric Co. expressed: "We are delighted for this exciting new chapter and look forward to connecting with the community as we move operations to Chatteris. The move aligns with how we want to scale as a brand and essentially will allow us to implement our sustainability efforts in-house. Progressively employing new staff from across the region is an integral part of our growth, and we look forward to welcoming local talent into our team."

Mayor of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, Dr Nik Johnson, said: "It is great news that such an ambitious, innovative company its placing a key part of its future in Chatteris. The Combined Authority's dedicated Growth Works service has supported the Tumeric Co. in its decision to locate its headquarters here and we expect benefits to come to the local economy in the form of growth and jobs.

"Encouraging investment into this region is a big part of what the Combined Authority is here to do and I look forward to seeing The Turmeric Co.'s growth plans come to fruition."

Cllr Ian Benney, Cabinet Member for Economic Growth at Fenland District Council, said: "One of our key priorities as a Council is to create the conditions for inward investment, establish new business opportunities and grow our economy, so we're thrilled to see The Turmeric Co. choose Fenland for its new HQ.

"Located in an already established manufacturing area, it is perfectly placed to take advantage of good road links and supply chain opportunities. I wish them every success in their new home.

"I would encourage other businesses looking for help to grow or relocate to Fenland to contact our Fenland for Business team to see what help and support is available. Visit www.fenlandforbusiness.co.uk"

The Turmeric Co. was introduced to the Growth Works business support service by Fenland for Business at Fenland District Council, which also connected the company to partner organisations regarding Intellectual Property protection, energy conservation, new product development support and smart manufacturing.
