Compulsory Purchase Order

Willow View (Previously known as Holly Cottage) The Chase, March PE15 9RJ

Fenland District Council is about to submit a compulsory purchase order to the Secretary of State for Willow View, The Chase, March PE15 9RJ. If the order is confirmed, it will authorise Fenland District Council to purchase compulsorily that land for the purpose of facilitating its improvement.

Any objection to the order must be made in writing to:

Objections need to be sent by date 27 September 2024 and should state the following:

  • the title of the order
  • the grounds of objection
  • the objector's address and interests in the land

Willow View, The Chase March PE15 9RJ is a detached five-bedroom Victorian bungalow located on the West side of the Chase. The property is accessed via a private vehicular road known as the Chase which also has highway status as a footpath. The footpath serves as a link from the main vehicular highway Gaul Road (in the town centre of March) to the public park and gardens known as 'March Park' which includes several amenities such as the George Campbell Leisure Centre and the town library.
