To enable members to determine a review application for a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence who possesses 12 Penalty Points issued by Fenland District Council.

Members considered a review application for a Hackney Carriage Driver’s Licence who possesses 12 penalty points issued by Fenland District Council.

The Chairman introduced the Panel and the others present were:

·       Andrew Fox, Senior Environmental Health Protection Officer

·       Danielle Watson, colleague of Colin Miles from Peterborough City Council, present as an observer.

Members asked questions, made comments and received responses. 

MEMBERS OF THE LICENSING COMMITTEE CONSIDERED THE REVIEW APPLICATION AND, HAVING READ THE REPORT AND HEARD FROM THE OFFICER’S PRESENT, DID NOT BELIEVE THE LICENCE HOLDER TO BE A FIT AND PROPER PERSON UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976. THEREFORE THE COMMITTEE AGREED TO REVOKE THE LICENCE.
