To enable members to determine an application for a Private Hire operator’s licence from an applicant who has been deemed by his actions as not fit and proper to hold this type of licence.

Members asked questions, made comments and received responses. 

MEMBERS OF THE LICENSING COMMITTEE CONSIDERED THE APPLICATION AND, AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE FINDINGS, WERE NOT SATISFIED THAT THE APPLICANT IS A FIT AND PROPER PERSON TO HOLD AN OPERATOR’S LICENCE.  THEREFORE THE COMMITTEE AGREED NOT TO GRANT THE LICENCE AND REFUSED THE APPLICATION.
