Minutes:

Members considered an application for the review of a Premises Licence in respect of March Express, 4 Station Road, March, PE15 8LB.

The Chairman introduced the Committee Members and Officers.  Others present were:

·       PC Grahame Robinson – Cambridgeshire Constabulary

·       Andrew Fayers – Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Trading Standards

·       Kirsty Draycott - Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Trading Standards

·       Jamal Khalil – Legal Representative for the Premises Licence Holder

·       Sandra Aksencuite – Premises Licence Holder

Michelle Bishop, Licensing Officer, presented a summary of the report to the Committee.

Andrew Fayers and Kirsty Draycott presented their statements to the Committee. The Chairman thanked them and asked PC Grahame Robinson if he had anything further to add to his supporting representation. PC Robinson had nothing further to add other than what has already been described in detail by Andrew Fayers.

The Chairman invited Jamal Khalil to ask questions on his client’s behalf.

Members asked questions, made comments and received responses.

Members of the Licensing Committee considered the application for review and, as a consequence of the findings, were not satisfied that suitable and sufficient measures have been undertaken to uphold the four Licensing Objectives of the Licensing Act 2003.  Therefore the Committee agreed to revoke the licence for the sale of alcohol.
