Following cabinet approval on 15th November 2024 which authorised approval to purchase 10 x 1-bedroom properties utilising £1.2 million from reserves.

 

This officer decision notice is to record the decision to complete the purchase of a 1-bedroom flat at 34 Heron Way, Benwick, March PE15 0UA at a purchase price of £90,000.

 

Reasons for the decision:

I am permitting that we buy this property for the purchase price of £90,000 for the following reasons:

 

·         I have looked at the documentation supplied as part of the sale, including:

o   Valuation Report

o   Solicitor’s Report

o   Form of contract and transfer

·         I am satisfied that the purchase falls within the remit of what cabinet approved, including:

o   It is within the financial threshold of the confidential appendix

o   The location of the property

o   The view of the Investment Board
