To place an order to the value of £38,805.70 with Pick Everard, following a procurement process, to project manage and technically advise on the overhaul of the electrical panels and busbars at George Campbell and Hudson leisure centres. This work also includes the removal of in-situ asbestos.
For safety reasons, an upgrade to the capacity is required.
A contractor to carry out the works will be procured in a separate process.
Existing equipment is reaching the limit of its useful life and is critical for the functioning of the centre.
A procurement exercise has been conducted following FDC’s procurement policy, and it was decided that due to the job complexity, we would award the project management works to Pick Everard via the ESPO framework agreement
FDC has a budget for condition survey works within the capital programme. As replacement of a whole capital asset, FDC is bound by the contract with Freedom to carry out this replacement.
Note – this is only for project management support – not the actual contractor carrying out these works.
None – this is critical equipment and its failure is not an option.
