To consider the draft Forward Plan

Members considered the draft Forward Plan.

Councillor Boden said one item he is keen to see moving forward is the potential investment in private sector housing for rent in Fenland, particularly in Wisbech and he will give this a high priority in the work of the Investment Board.

Members considered the confidential Land Acquisition Proposal report presented by Councillor Boden.

The Investment Board AGREED that this land acquisition opportunity should not be taken forward. 

Members considered the confidential Housing Development Proposal report presented by Councillor Benney. 

The Investment Board noted progress to date and AGREED to recommend the development opportunity be taken forward through planning process given the costs indicated within the report, with responsibility for those costs yet to be determined.

Members considered the confidential Nene Sites Development report presented by Justin Wingfield.

The Investment Board AGREED to note the current progress and the indicative timetable within the report.
