Free event for landlords to pick up tips on facing rental challenges
Residential landlords and agents in Fenland can pick up tips on how to keep energy costs under control, stay on top of contents inventory and better support tenants at a free online event.

The online forum, hosted by Fenland District Council, will offer landlords and agents the chance to hear from a panel of experts and put their questions.
Cllr Sam Hoy, portfolio holder for housing, said: "We provide advice and assistance to residential landlords and tenants to support the provision of top quality private rental provision across the district.
"We've run several free landlord forums like this before, which always prove extremely popular.
"It's an opportunity to hear tips and advice from experts in the field on some of the biggest challenges facing landlords today."
The event will include:
- Inventory tips from Rob Smy, of property inventory services firm No Letting Go
- Domestic abuse information from Danae Evans, Domestic Abuse Manager at Cambridgeshire County Council
- Benefits tips from Sarah Hyman, Benefits Liaison Manager, at Anglia Revenues Partnership
- Cost saving hacks from private landlord Richard Lilley
- An update from Jo Evans, Private Sector Housing Officer, Fenland District Council
Landlords and agents are encouraged to submit questions before the event to help shape presentations. Questions can also be put on the evening.
The event will be held via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday 28 February, 6pm to 8pm. No additional software is required to join the event as attendees will be able to join through their web browser.
To register your interest, to submit a question or for more information, please contact the Private Sector Housing team via email at privatesectorhousing@fenland.gov.uk
