Senior Planning Enforcement Officer - closing 03.02.2023

Band 8 - £36,298 to £41,496 (depending upon experience) & car allowance. A relocation package may also be available.

You should have extensive experience of planning enforcement including the preparation and issue of formal notices, the taking and giving of witness statements, interviews under caution, appeals, prosecutions and the giving of evidence in court. Applicants should be capable of forming positive working relationships with clients, performance minded, organised and capable of modernising the service to help manage demand better.

Attendance at Planning Committee and representing the Council at appeal and in court are key parts of the role, as well as supporting the junior Planning Enforcement officer.
