Physical Activity Locality Co-ordinator (12 Months Fixed Term) - Closing Monday 17th October 2022

Band 5, £23,953 - £26,446 (Pro-rata)

Part time role: 15 hours

Any Fenland District Council site in the district but currently based at Fenland Hall, March. Flexible homeworking arrangements available.

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Sports Development team at Fenland District Council to work closely with Public Health partners on a new healthy lifestyle project to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles in the community as an aid to healthy weight as part of the Active Fenland brand.

The post holder will be responsible for the development and implementation of the project across Fenland to get more people more active, with a particular focus on the inactive, and those from priority groups or in priority areas.

You will have a relevant sports, leisure or physical activity qualification or experience of developing and implementing physical activity initiatives for the whole population and special population groups.
