Conservation Officer - Closing: Monday 12th December 2022

£41,496-£46,459 & car allowance

The role includes:

  • Providing advice to building owners
  • Having a listed building consent caseload
  • Supporting development management officers with applications with a heritage impact
  • Reviewing Conservation Area Appraisals & Management Plans, policy advice and guidance
  • Managing a small grants programme
  • Supporting enforcement officers

This is a challenging, technical but very rewarding role within the team and you will hold an appropriate qualification and have experience in dealing with Listed Buildings and development in Conservation Areas.
