Don't lose your voice - 2022 Annual Household Canvass gets underway
Fenland residents are being reminded not to lose their voice on decisions that affect them by making sure their electoral registration details are up-to-date.

Canvassers are delivering Annual Household Canvass Forms to addresses across the district during the next few weeks, as the annual canvass gets underway.
The canvass, which has to be carried out by law, ensures that Fenland District Council can keep the electoral register up-to-date - by inviting unregistered residents to register to vote, and removing the names of electors who no longer live at the address.
The Council will contact households in a number of different ways including by post, email, text message or by phone, inviting residents to check and, if necessary, update their electoral information.
Not every household will need to respond, but those that are required to do so are encouraged to as soon as possible to ensure that the process runs smoothly and to remove the need for reminders and any further contact.
People who have moved address recently are particularly encouraged to keep an eye out for the form and check the details.
