There are a wide range of agencies that can provide advice and support in an emergency situation.

Anglian Water - to report water water leaks call 0800 771881. In emergencies, call 03457 145 145.

BT - to report line / telephone faults call 0800 800 151

Cambridgeshire Police - call 101 in a non emergency

Cambridgeshire Fire & Rescue - in a non emergency call 01480 444500

DEFRA - Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs

East of England Ambulance Service - general contact number 0845 601 3733

 UK Power Networks ( to report incidents of power loss) - 0800 31 63 105. You can also sign up to their priority register. This is a free service they offer to customers who are dependent on medical equipment; customers who are chronically sick or have a disability; customers with young babies; nursing or residential homes and elderly customers. If you are on the register, UK Power Networks will call you if they expect bad weather in your area that could result in a power cut, offer you a special priority phone number that you can call if you have a power cut, keep you updated during a power cut and ask the British Red Cross to visit your home for extra support (if required). 

Environment Agency Flooding - information about flooding and the local environment. Call their Floodline to report incidents of flooding, or to get flooding updates, on 0345 988 1188.

Gas - National Grid - in emergencies call 0800 111999
