Important copyright notice

Plans, drawings and material submitted to the Council are protected by the Copyright Acts (Section 47, 1988 Act).

You may only use material which is downloaded and/or printed for consultation purposes, to compare current applications with previous schemes and to check whether developments have been completed in accordance with approved plans.

Further copies must not be made without the prior permission of the copyright owner.

Electronic mapping used on this site is copyright of Ordnance Survey and is licensed for use by Fenland District Council. Other uses of these maps without the permission of Ordnance Survey is a breach of copyright.

Limitations

• The Online Planning System - (called "Public Access") is updated each working day
• Please note: It can take 24 hours to upload documents to the website and therefore be available to view.
• As the service is still being developed only some information is available online
• The planning history shown in Public Access is incomplete and is not a substitute for carrying out a formal ‘Land Charge Search’
• Fenland Council accepts no responsibility for any errors or omissions in "Public Access". Contact the Development Services team to clarify any important information.
• Any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at your own risk

Browser Compatibility

We have tested Public Access using:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and 7

We have experienced several issues using:

• Mozilla Firefox (mapping functions)
• Google Chrome (mapping functions)
• Apple Safari (styling issues)

We recommend upgrading your internet browser to the latest version.

You will need Adobe acrobat viewer in order to be able to view associated documents. This can be downloaded free of charge from the Adobe website: www.adobe.com (opens in new window).

 

Problems downloading associated documents?

We recommend using Acrobat Reader version X (or later) as a number of people have reported difficulty in viewing some of the larger PDF documents when using earlier versions or other PDF readers. If it is not practical for you to upgrade, please try downloading the documents to your PC before opening them with your PDF viewer.

We are currently experiencing a problem with the mapping functionality associated with the "View Map" link displayed on the main side-bar.

Mapping facilities associated with the Property and Application searches are both working okay.
