The Council undertakes routine cutting of grass in urban areas together with tree and hedge pruning and shrub and rose bed maintenance.

Grass areas which are the responsibility of the Council are cut on a frequency of no less than 18 cuts, unless the grass area has been designated a wild flora area. Continued bad weather can delay grass cutting and extended dry weather may make grass cutting unnecessary.
