Fenland District Council wants to create vibrant communities where people have access to a decent home in a safe environment at an affordable price, be it as a tenant or owner occupier.
In its capacity as the strategic and enabling housing authority we aim to drive the creation of a balanced housing market that meets the economic and social needs of our area.
However, this cannot be achieved alone and the commitment of our partners has been fundamental in starting to deliver that agenda.
Fenland District Council provide approximately 3,900 homes affordable rents for our tenants, as well as specially adapted homes for disabled and elderly people, and housing with scheme managers to provide support for frail or vulnerable people.
Besides providing Council Housing, Fenland District Council also support private households by providing targeted financial assistance to improve and repair homes and to adapt the homes of disabled people.
