What is CrimeBUSter?

CrimeBUSter is our new partnership community safety vehicle that we have created to deliver a programme of projects across the district, aimed at keeping Fenland clean, green and safe. When needed, our bus will also be used to provide a 'rapid response' service to rural areas of the district.

What will the bus be used for?

Our single decker bus had been refitted to provide a comfortable, visual and easy accessible information centre, to deliver practical solutions to improving community safety in Fenland.

Organisations that make up the Safer Fenland Partnership will run surgeries from the vehicle in rural locations (19 villages) at least four times a year, to promote community safety.

The bus will also be used to support the following projects in Fenland:

• Bobby Scheme
• Golden Age Fairs
• Not in my Neighbourhood
• Be Seen to be Clean
• Road safety campaigns
• Fire Service initiatives
• Police initiatives
• Local community events

These are only some of the initiatives which the vehicle will be supporting, CrimeBUSter is also available for hire.
