We're constantly working hard to provide a wide range of excellent services to you. As well as emptying your bins did you know we also, amongst other services, we can also help you with:

• many aspects of planning and development
• setting up and sourcing businesses moving to Fenland

We run the busy port at Wisbech managing the berthing of both holiday and commercial shipping...and we manage three fully equipped leisure centres!

• We have saved £1.6 million by making our services more efficient in the past two years. This helps us to maintain one of the lowest average council tax levels in the country
• 84% of local residents believe we are making the area a better place
• Last year we recycled or composted 47% of household waste - almost five times the amount we recycled three years ago
• 85% of local residents believe we are working to make the district cleaner and greener.
• In the past year 30,500 young people participated in our successful sports development programme
• Last year we paid out over £260,00 of grants to local community organisations.
• We improved local council homes including fitting hundreds of new kitchens, bathrooms and heating systems
• Our 'Street Pride' scheme enabled local volunteers to give up over 400 hours of their own time to clear up our local environment.
• We pick up 60,000 bins every week
