Setting Pop-up Exceptions for Mozilla Firefox Browsers

One of Firefox's features is to automatically block unsolicited pop-ups. By default this feature is enabled.

It is possible to disable this feature for particular websites (www.fenland.gov.uk), follow the instructions below:

1. Go to Firefox's preferences menu
   • Tools → Options for Windows
   • Mozilla → Preferences for the Mac
   • Edit → Preferences for Unix/Linux
2. Click on to Privacy & Security → Popup Windows → Block unrequested popup windows



 

3. You can configure exceptions to this rule by clicking on "Allowed Sites", entering a site name, and clicking "OK."
4. If pop-up blocking was the problem, you can enable an exception by clicking on "Add Sites", entering the URL of the site, and clicking "Add".
