Grants and Funding
Looking to see whether there's any money up for grabs? Here's where you can find out all the information about the different sources of funding, how to apply and also, if we've got any money we may be able to give you!
Funds are on offer from Fenland District Council for improvements to derelict and vacant buildings and sites.
Grants are available for shop owners keen to improve the look of their premises through the repair or reintroduction of traditional timber shop fronts for period buildings or for aluminium ones in more modern ones.
The grants cover up to 50 per cent of the total cost of the work, up to a maximum of £1,500. They can also be given for minor repairs or repainting, but not for signage.
Funds are also available through the Building Grants Scheme which covers more significant improvements such as structural repairs.
For further details on both of these funding streams, please contact FDC's conservation officer, on 01354 654321.
The third grant scheme through Renaissance is Changing Views. Funds are available to voluntary community groups who are keen to improve the visual appearance of empty buildings or vacant sites - this could be achieved by the implementation of a number of simple measures e.g. decoration, hoarding, grounds maintenance. Grants of up to £500 are available for each project.
For further details, please contact FDC's Street Pride Co-ordinator, on 01354 654321 or email@example.com
