The Communications Team provides information on what is happening at the council, our priorities, decisions and any other matters of public interest.

The team plays a key part in making sure correct, up to date and relevant council information is made available to the people of Fenland.

Media relations

The Communications Team should be your first point of contact for any media enquiry, they work closely with the local, regional and national media and regularly distribute news releases on behalf of the council.

Who do I contact with a media enquiry?

The team is available to deal with media enquiries during the council's normal opening times, and if you wish to speak to someone about a press enquiry please contact our Press Officer, John Carey, on 01354 622226.

Email enquiries should be sent to: communications@fenland.gov.uk. This inbox is checked regularly throughout the day by all members of the team and by using this email address you can be sure that your enquiry will be picked up quickly.
