Cemeteries
Here you can find out more information about the cemeteries owned by FDC
Fenland District Council maintains cemeteries within Fenland, there others which are managed by Parishes and Town Councils. A list of Fenland District Council managed Cemeteries and Burial Grounds can be found below:
- Walsoken Cemetery situated at Church Road, Walsoken
- Wisbech Cemetery situated at Mount Pleasant, Wisbech
- March Cemetery situated at Station Road, March
- Eastwood Cemetery situated at Eastwood Avenue, March
- Chatteris Cemetery situated at New Road, Chatteris
- Whittlesey Cemetery situated at Cemetery Road, Whittlesey
- Wisbech St Mary Cemetery situated at Church Road, Wisbech St Mary
- General Cemetery, Chatteris
Public access
All Fenland District Council cemeteries are open to the public for pedestrian access 24 hours a day.
Disabled access
Keys are only required for vehicle access.
There is now a refundable charge for cemetery keys to Wisbech Cemetery and Chatteris Cemetery.
At Wisbech Cemetery and Chatteris Cemetery we issue keys that cannot be copied and these will be issued at a refundable fee. Keys will only be issued to the disabled or people with legitimate health problems.
Pedestrian access is available 24 hours per day. To apply for a cemetery key contact our One Stop Shops for an application form or telephone 01354 654321 or email bereavement@fenland.gov.uk.
