Councillor Kay Mayor is hosting a coffee morning on Thursday, September 28, as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's World's Biggest Coffee Morning event.

Everyone is welcome to join her at Fenland Hall in County Road, March, between 10am and 11.30am to enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake and sausage roll.

All money raised will go towards funding more Macmillan nurses and health professionals and will provide vital practical, emotional and financial help for people suffering from cancer.

Cllr Mayor said: "So many people are affected by cancer; even if we don't suffer personally we will all know people that are. Macmillan nurses do so much fantastic work, providing vital relief and support to sufferers and their families. I hope people will come and join me for some coffee, tea and cake and help raise as much money as possible."

There will also be a raffle, and donations can be made on the day. Anyone who cannot come but would like to make a donation should post it to the Chairman's Secretary, Fenland District Council, Fenland Hall, County Road, March, Cambridgeshire, PE15 8NQ (please make cheques payable to Macmillan Cancer Support).
