Public meetings called on plans for Minor Injuries Units

Three public meetings have been called to give people a chance to discuss the plans for the area's Minor Injuries Units and Outpatient services.

The meetings are at:

  • Doddington Community Hospital (Recreation Hall), Benwick Road, Doddington PE15 0UG tomorrow (Tuesday, August 23, 7-8.30pm)
  • Rosmini Centre, 69A Queens Road, Wisbech PE13 2PH this Thursday (August 25, 6.30-8pm)
  • March Community Centre, 34 Station Road, March PE15 8LE (Thursday, September 8, 6.30-8pm)

They have been arranged by the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), who say further meetings will also be scheduled.

Each meeting will feature a presentation followed by a question and answer session.

The future of the services is under review and there are fears that the MIU units in Doddington and Wisbech could be closed. The CCG say that no decisions have yet been made.
