Waterlees Clean for the Queen Event

The Waterlees In Bloom / Street Pride Group conduct monthly litter picks.

In 2015, at the annual celebration evening the group won the Best Community Project for their work with local residents and partner agencies and in particular one project where volunteers teamed up with staff from Lloyds bank to help clear the garden at Community House

In 2016, they won the Best Clean Up for their Keep Britain Tidy's 'Clean for the Queen' event in March. They joined members of Circle Housing Roddons and The Landscape Group in an event that included litter picking and general tidying up, followed by a cream tea. Orchards School also held a litter pick on school grounds.

In 2017, they won Best Youth Project for their work with Wisbech In Bloom to plant 400 saplings at Orchards Primary School for the schools 'forest project.'

New volunteers are always welcome.
