Businesses invited to free health and safety forum

Fenland businesses can get expert advice on health and safety at a free forum being organised by Fenland District Council next month (March).

The event will be held at Fenland Hall, March, on March 10, 9.30am-12 noon. Run by the council's environmental health team, it will include talks on effective health and safety management and what steps are needed to ensure a safe workplace both for employees and customers.
Each business can send two delegates.

Councillor Mike Cornwell, FDC's Cabinet member for communities, said: "It's important that businesses maintain the highest safety standards in the workplace  - they are vital for everyone, customers as well as staff. That's why we do all we can to help them.

"We are very aware of the challenges that businesses are facing and bringing them together at our free business forums has proved very successful in the past. So I hope many people will take advantage of this latest offer."
